ME Department Hosts Design Expo - December 11
The Mechanical Engineering Department will host its student Design Expo on December 11, from 1-4 pm, in the EECS atrium. The expo will feature projects from the ME 450 class, a senior design course, along with other projects from ME350 and ME250 courses.
Students display projects at the Spring 2001 Design Expo
The ME450 Design Expo is the culmination of the 3-term design sequence in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Michigan. Students are presented with an open-ended design problem and it is their objective to use their engineering skills to clearly define and solve the design problem. Each design team of 3-5 students will present their design and a working prototype. The designs range from Baja car frames, to wearable technology, to biomedical devices, to BattleBots. All interested persons are invited and encouraged to attend.
