Ashton-Miller Elected as AIMBE Fellow

Professor James Ashton-Miller Research Professor James Ashton Miller has been elected as a Fellow of the American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering. Conferral of this honor recognizes his' many distinguished contributions to the field of medical and biological engineering, as well as his demonstrated interest, concern and involvement with critical issues affecting the field.

Ashton-Miller will be officially inducted as AIMBE Fellow on Thursday, February 17, at the National Academy of Sciences building in the main auditorium. This ceremony will be held as part of the 2005 AIMBE's Annual Event, scheduled for February 16-18, in Washington, DC, which combines medical and biological engineering with public policy issues. This year's event will focus on Bionanotechnology.
