Schultz Appointed Faculty Director of Ginsberg Center

schultzME Professor Bill Schultz has recently been appointed Faculty Director of the Ginsberg Center. He will share leadership of the Ginsberg Center with Director Theresa Cusimano, working to progress the Center’s mission to engage students, faculty, and community members in learning together through community service and civic participation.

Schultz's dedication to promoting service-learning within the CoE and across U-M is evidenced by his involvement in a number of community service-oriented courses and programs. Finally, Schultz serves as a co-faculty advisor of ProCEED, a program that seeks to enhance the learning experience of university engineering students through design projects that link students with the community.

Schultz's research interests focus on the study of fluid mechanics. In addition to his position in the ME department, he also serves as a professor in the department of Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering.
