Duan wins Best Paper Award at the 2015 Dynamic Systems and Controls Conference

ME Ph.D. student, Molong Duan, has won the best student paper award at the 2015 Dynamic Systems and Controls Conference for his paper titled, “Tracking Control of Non-minimum Phase Systems using Filtered Basis Functions: A NURBS-based Approach.” It was co-authored by fellow ME Ph.D. student, Keval Ramani, and ME Assistant Professor, Chinedum Okwudire, all from the Mechatronics and Sustainability Research Lab. The paper was chosen for the award amongst 56 nominations and 6 finalists. Half of the finalists were from the U-M ME department.
